Supporting Local Food & Farmers
The programs of the Florida West Coast RC&D Council focus on sustainable economic and community development, natural resource use and conservation, and sustainable agriculture. The FWCRCD serves Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties on the central southwest coast of Florida.
We work on a diverse selection of programs that focus on current issues, ranging from reclaimed water usage to organic food production. Our projects include Geraldson Community Farm, Gamble Creek Farm, Sunday Market at Geraldson Community Farm, Florida Farmlink.org and the Manatee Agricultural Reuse System MARS.
Whether you are a consumer or grower, we want to help connect you with resources within the local food system. Please take some time to explore our website and feel free to contact us.
